My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
I attended the Buelrain State College of Economics in Winterthur.
Thereby, I went to New Zealand and the French part of Switzerland as an
exchange Student.
I discovered my fascination for quantitative finance during my
engineering studies (1999-2005) at the Swiss Federal Institute of
Technology in Zurich. Thus, I started to attend courses in this area and
wrote my semester project and diploma thesis in the field of
quantitative risk management.
As a welcome change of pace from my studies, I spent several months
at a time doing various internships in Switzerland and abroad.
From 2007 to 2010, I successfully completed with great enthusiasm the
master program of Advanced Studies in Finance UZH ETH as a part time
student. The topic of my maser thesis was convertible bond and
asymmetry.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
Since 2005, I develop software in the field of quantitative finance at Fisch Asset Management.
When I'm not working, then ...
… I enjoy the challenge of playing cycle ball. Besides, I like to dance Salsa or to go in for sports in the nature.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
I have never been one for swimming with currents and have therefore
never thought much of "fish". Surprisingly enough, however, the "Fischs"
with whom I worked together since my thesis were able to change my
opinion. |
