My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
After earning a Matura diploma in commercial studies and completing a
bank training program, my professional career began at Credit Suisse in
1989. I initially worked in New Issues and Syndication, then in
Warrants and Structured Products and finally in Bond Trading, where I
was responsible for the introduction of interest rate derivatives in
the early 1990s. At the end of 1994, I joined Bank Julius Baer, where I
worked in Derivatives Trading and in building up Risk Management.
Following this, I spent seven years in Vancouver, Canada. During my
time in Vancouver, I attended film school and subsequently worked as an
animation artist at a Nintendo64 video game developer. I have been with
Fisch Asset Management AG since January 2004.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
Exploiting my flair for
spreadsheets and making practical use of the theoretical applications
of quantitative analysis and risk management.
When I'm not working, then ...
... I devote myself to the field
of 3D computer graphics and attempt to keep up to date with the
incredibly swift developments in this area since my time in Canada.
This also involves trying out the latest video games and expanding my
DVD collection. In winter, I can often be found snowboarding in the
Alps.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
Whether Lake
Zurich, Lake Zug or the Pacific Ocean, somehow I have always found
myself situated close to water. And I have now even been lured
professionally by "Fisch". |
