My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
Before I joined FAM, I went through the following stages in my professional life:
I learned the «banking trade» at Zürcher Kantonalbank and spent an additional 8 years there gaining experience.
My initial acquaintance with investment banking followed during 2 years at Citicorp in Zurich.
I spent an additional 5 years riding the Japan boom with a small investment advisory firm in central Switzerland.
Then in 1992, I was hired by «giant» Merrill Lynch as a relationship
manager for its institutional clients in the eurobonds and convertibles
area. During these 9 years, I discovered my «love» for FAM. The wedding
took place in September 2001.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
I am now able to fully
exploit my extensive experience in selling convertible bonds as well as
my specific product know-how in the asset management and sales area at
FAM.
When I'm not working, then ...
... I enjoy hunting in my home
community of Adliswil. Sports are also important to me. However, I
spend the majority of my leisure time with my wife and our two
children!
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
Fish already
played a role in my life when I was quite young: When I was served the
classic children's meal "spinach and fish sticks", it was usually the
spinach that was left behind. I also often went fishing with my
brothers. Then everything was quiet for a while in my "aquarium".
Through snorkeling in Egypt and Hawaii, I have experienced the colorful
underwater world from a different perspective together with my
children. Now I have decided to place "Fisch" on my business card as
well. |
