My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
My love of computers began with a Commodore 128 when I was eight years old. This led to countless nights of game playing in front of glowing monitors in poorly lit rooms. After turning my passion into a professional opportunity by earning a diploma as a multimedia producer (SAE), I spent several years running my own sole proprietorship in the field of web design and supported virtual learning environments on the side through a part-time job at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. My springboard into the Fisch pond ultimately came through achieving federal certification as an IT specialist.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
As Head of System Administration, I am responsible together with Jacky Tam for our IT infrastructure. I exchange defective mice and fix paper jams, but I also spend my time dealing with more challenging and complex topics such as networks, IT security and business continuity management. My duties here are extremely varied and there is never a dull day.
When I'm not working, then ...
... I devote most of my attention to my wife and two children. If some spare time does arise, I try to keep my long-term hobby as a DJ alive.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
I prefer to see "fish" living in their natural environment. In our spacious offices with a wonderful view of the lake, there is plenty of opportunity for this. |
