My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
I completed my studies at the University of St. Gallen with a doctoral thesis on warrant and convertible bonds and began my professional career in 1988 at Credit Suisse. I remained with this financial institution for 20 years, during which time I developed from a derivatives specialist for Swiss pension funds into an asset management marketing generalist. I have especially fond memories of the nearly four years I spent in Frankfurt as CEO of CSAM Germany. From 2008 to 2011, I worked at Vontobel Asset Management, where I was responsible for marketing and client service in Europe/Latam. My professional focus can therefore be summarised as follows: asset management and clients, clients, clients….

What significance do "fish" have in my life?
Fish always remind me of how important openness and flexibility are in life in order to make positive experiences. This dates back to my being invited to my first sushi meal many years ago as a student in the USA. I still recall my reluctance when I first saw the raw fish, but I gave myself the decisive push to try the unknown and taste it. What a good decision; today sushi is one of my favourite things to eat! |
