My life before Fisch Asset Management
High Yield was my mantra for over 10 years. Starting at UBS as a publishing high yield analyst, I relatively quickly decided to make the step to the ‘buy side` and joined Pimco, just a week after Lehman Brothers failed. Later I worked for a High Yield Specialist Muzinich & Co before joining Fisch Asset Management. During this period I was meeting interesting people from the business world. I followed their development and was trying to predict important trends and the impact of their decisions.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
I work as a portfolio manager in the convertible bonds team. On a daily basis I look for ‘yieldy’ investment ideas across the globe, assess new convertible bond issues, and evaluate solvency of convertible bond issuers with lower credit ratings. I discuss and implement these ideas in our portfolios while positioning the portfolios within our macroeconomic views.
