My life before Fisch Asset Management
After my Matura diploma in Locarno, I moved to Zürich and attended the ETH for my studies in materials science. I subsequently doctorate in experimental physics with a work performed at the Paul Scherrer Institute. There, I started writing software in order to make my life easier. The first professional experiences came as an engineering for Mettler-Toledo AG, where I was involved in the development of optical oxygen sensors. My passion for software has ever since steadily grown: I spent the last two years as an independent contractor, which gave me the chance to improve my skills in data processing, web and mobile technologies. That helped my in joining the Fisch Asset Management and the financial world.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
I am working on improving our software stack. My goal is to enable my co-workers to perform their excellent job in an easy and even more enjoyable manner.
When I'm not working, then ...
...in winter I spend quite some time on the ski slopes. As an active member of a ski-club, I am aimed to pass my passion for snowboarding, mountains and nature to the kids. In summer time I like to hike in the swiss mountains. I have however to admit, that the reward of a good glass of wine, a nice piece of alpine cheese and some salami is greater than the mountain climbing itself.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
As a kid I was not really a fish fan. Only with the time I started enjoying it and now, even if not on my daily diet, I really appreciate Spaghetti with clams, gilthead, fish soup and sushi.
