Fisch Asset Management, the Zurich-based asset manager specialising in convertible bond, corporate bond and absolute return solutions, is expanding the Executive Committee with the appointment of two new members, Angela Eder and Vladimir Khmyrov, effective 1 April 2020. The move will address the more complex demands placed on active asset managers, as well as the growing needs of clients and the wider market.

A newly created Technology division, headed up by Chief Technology Officer Vladimir Khmyrov, will enhance the analytical aspect of portfolio management. The firm has already laid the foundations for this with the introduction of cloud-based infrastructure and a new portfolio management application.

To optimise and further develop the fund and mandate offering, the Luxembourg management company Fisch Fund Services AG and Fisch Asset Management’s product management have now been amalgamated into one division. It will be headed up by Angela Eder, member of the Executive Committee and of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg management company.

Commenting, CEO Juerg Sturzenegger, said: “With their extensive experience and specialist knowledge within their respective fields, I am confident that Angela and Vladimir will further enhance the level of expertise already present on Fisch’s Executive Committee. Developing the organisational structure of the firm and expanding the Executive Committee are key steps in the implementation of our long-term strategy at Fisch and we are committed to executing this to enable us to best meet the needs of our clients and investors now and in the future.”

As of 1 April 2020, Fisch Asset Management’s Executive Committee is composed of CEO Juerg Sturzenegger (Corporate Center), Meno Stroemer (Portfolio Management), Hanspeter Diem (Sales & Relationship Management), Angela Eder (Products) and Vladimir Khmyrov (Technology).
