Fisch Asset Management has appointed Patryk Jessen, an experienced expert, to its convertible bond team. This will further expand the investment expertise in this area.
As of 1 October 2024, Patryk Jessen (45) will join Fisch's convertible bond team, which is headed by Ivan Nikolov, as a Senior Portfolio Manager. The team manages a total of five different strategies across the entire convertible bond risk spectrum.
Before joining Fisch, Jessen worked at Flossbach von Storch in Cologne from 2017. There, he managed the in-house convertible bond fund as well as corresponding institutional mandates. As Senior Analyst Fixed Income, he also had functional responsibility for the credit team and the company-wide credit strategy. Prior to this, he worked at NRW.BANK in Düsseldorf for seven years from 2010 as Credit Analyst Corporates & Private Equity, where he analysed blue chip companies and was responsible for the corporate rating.
Ivan Nikolov, Head of Convertible Bonds, comments: “With Patryk Jessen, we have gained a recognised expert with an excellent track record for Fisch Asset Management. This reinforcement of the convertible bond team emphasises that we are determined to continue our 30-year success story in this diverse and exciting asset class.”
