My life before I joined Fisch Asset Management
After completing my economics degree at the University of Constance, I
went on to obtain my doctorate from the same university, which included
spending approximately two years at the Centre for European Economic
Research in Mannheim. Shortly before 2000, I left the academic field
and headed for the financial center of Zurich, where I was employed
with Credit Suisse AM and then with Swisscanto AM. By taking
responsibility for several mandates and funds in the CH bond area, I
quickly familiarized myself with the field of portfolio management.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
As a portfolio manager,
managing our products (funds and mandates) and steadily improving our
investment process are at the heart of my daily work.
When I'm not working, then ...
...I spend a lot of time with my
family, enjoying a broad range of activities. Skiing in winter,
excursions on foot or on bike, and visits to the zoo are just a few of
the possibilities. In between, I like to jog or bike right through the
forest, startling the wild animals stalked by Roland Hotz, or I attempt other athletic pursuits.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
Except for an aquarium and its occupants, which came into my possession
by chance in my youth and aroused my interest, fish had little impact
on my life for quite some time. The first decisive change came through
my family, who were all born under the zodiac sign of Pisces. And with
my change in employer to FAM, my life is now almost completely under
the influence of “Fisch”. The only thing missing is a new aquarium… |
