My life before Fisch Asset Management
After studying physics at ETH Zurich, my first experience in the financial world was working as an actuary. In order to enhance and broaden my financial knowledge, I obtained my doctorate from the Institute for Operations Research & Computational Finance at the University of St. Gallen, where I subsequently headed the Forecasting & Statistics area. Following this, I worked as a quantitative analyst at UBS, Bank Julius Baer and VP Bank, Moving on to Quantica Capital, a hedge fund specialised in systematic investment strategies, I initially served as a portfolio manager and ultimately headed the portfolio management and trading teams as Deputy CIO.
My duties at Fisch Asset Management
As a portfolio manager and researcher, I'm bringing my expertise into the CTA team. I'm happy to contribute to the success of the managed futures product.
When I'm not working, then ...
… I like to spend time outside in the fresh air, whether hiking, skiing, jogging or on the Rhine River.
What significance do "fish" have in my life?
Being fascinated by sharks, my relationship with fish has been characterised mostly by fear thus far. But I have now come to realise that there are also some nice big fish.
